Email Setup – Help

Your domain / custom smtp (example – john@yourdomain.com)

  • SMTP Server: smtp.yourdomain.com
  • SMTP User Name: yourname@yourdomain.com
  • SMTP Password: yourpassword
  • SMTP Port: 465 or 587
  • SMTP Authentication/TLS/SSL Required: yes

Gmail

  • SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
  • SMTP User Name: GMail account (email@gmail.com)
  • SMTP Password: GMail password
  • SMTP Port: 587 or 465
  • SMTP Authentication/TLS/SSL Required: yes
If you are using two-step authentication in Gmail, you will have to generate a token. Use that token as a password.

1. Log-in to Gmail with your account
2. Navigate to https://security.google.com/settings/security/apppasswords
3. In ‘select app’ choose ‘custom’, give it an arbitrary name, and press generate
4. It will give you 16 characters token

Gmail SMTP Configuration for two-step authentication
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP User Name: GMail account (email@gmail.com)
SMTP Password: your 16 characters token.
SMTP Port: 587 or 465
SMTP Authentication/TLS/SSL Required: yes
 
 
Windows Live Hotmail
  • SMTP Server: smtp.live.com
  • SMTP User Name: Your complete Windows Live Hotmail email address (e.g. me@hotmail.com or me@live.com)
  • SMTP Password: Your Windows Live Hotmail password
  • SMTP Port: 587
  • SMTP Authentication/TLS/SSL Required: yes
